This Is My Why

Creating this product has truly been an incredible gift from God. It began as just a need for myself, before I let some of my co-workers try it and they encouraged me to create more and offer it to others.

I never imagined it would connect me with ocean lovers all over the world. I've had the joy of surfing with women I met through this product, and my hope is that it’s been a gift to anyone struggling to care for their hair.

I don’t know why, but hair holds so much power in how we feel about ourselves. The more people I meet, the more I realize how true that is. Man or woman, young or old — a bad haircut will make you cry.

I don’t believe it’s our pride or vanity that gives us this feeling about our hair. I believe hair is an extension of who we are and how we take care of ourselves. Maybe that’s dramatic but that is my “why.” It’s the reason I created this product, to hopefully make a small dent in preventing any further hair damage/breakage.

I hope it makes you feel beautiful. I hope it makes you feel proud that you are doing something to nourish and protect yourself, even if it’s an act as small as putting Sol Amor in your hair.

More than anything, I hope to see you in the water soon.
